Sparkle in a whole new color

I love it when my customers take color into their own hands and do something totally different with my designs! This is my original Sparkle Tree Quilt:

This is Jean’s Sparkle Tree Quilt in a whole new colorway:

I have to say that this photo does absolutely nothing to show you the radiance of this quilt – it looks sooooo much more spectacular in person.

The snowflakes really do sparkle with lots of metallic threads to catch the light:

The leaves on the tree were also sparkling with the use of metallic threads:

The pot that the tree stands in takes a more subtle approach and I love the red on red which draws you in to want to look much closer:

Btw… you can click on any of the photos to see a larger version!

The Sparkle design collection comes with some smaller trees too that can be used in a Table Runner or a Tree Skirt.

If you’re ready to make your Holiday season Sparkle, you can purchase the design collection by clicking here. If you love the purple and green silks used to make the tree quilt, tree skirt or table runner, ask your local BERNINA dealer to order the Sparkle Silk Collections for you – and there’s even an AURIfil thread kit to go with the silk! And… for your cutting ease there is a set of AccuQuilt GO! dies to do all of the cutting for you.

What colors will you be using to make your Holiday season Sparkle this year? Drop me a line in the comments below.

  1. Oh My Goodness! This is so beautiful! These are MY colors Thank you for sharing.

    • Everything you do makes me gasp! I cannot believe the beautiful stuff that comes out of your brain and body. At some point, I would love to learn this stuff. I have a Futura CE-100 embroidery machine (not the greatest, but it’s never been used and it was given to me by a relative for free-can’t beat that!). I live in Tempe at Warner and McClintock: could you perhaps tell me where I could eventually learn to use this machine and someday make stuff as incredible as you? Thanks so much!

  2. That looks like so much fun! And by the way…love your embroidery!!

  3. I love your designs and also would love the adult coloring books!

  4. This Book I would love, it would be a great help for me, as I am hopeless at selecting colours.

  5. Prayers to lift up you and Heather
